about TRASH + TREASURE 

This duo project featuring guitarist Boose Rutledge and pianist Allison Stella focuses on original songs and original cover arrangements that confront clashing extremes. 

Each musician as a soloist and songwriter alone has a contrasting style:

BOOSE 

• style: catchy, upbeat, sunny

• front man of The Pickles, a party band known from the NYC to Tampa bay areas

ALLISON 

• style: cerebral, elaborate, ruminating

• soloist and satellite member of The Pickles, multi-instrumentalist for apocalyptic folk band Burnt Tavern

Together, the duo mixes old and new, optimism and cynicism, and the familiar with the obscure.
